  • Community Maintenance on March 19th

    Hello Community:

As a part of our commitment to providing a reliable and available service, we will be performing maintenance on March 19 at 11:00 PM ET.

Our cloud hosting provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS), has identified that one of our database instances requires a maintenance restart. This preventative maintenance will require a brief downtime of 15 minutes.

Don't worry - anything scheduled during this time will queue up and kick off after the database is back up and running. We apologize for the brief disruption that this will cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.

If you have any further questions, please contact me at jmanuel@hrpa.ca

    Thank you,

    Justin
  • New Community Library Improvements Coming Soon

    Hello Community:

I am excited to announce some changes coming soon for our community libraries. This new redesign is a direct result of the conversations and feedback we have received from you over the past year and a bit.

The redesign will provide a more user-friendly interface and better browsing experience for community members.

Highlighted below are new features that I'm particularly excited about:

    • Entry Previews - Ability to see the details of a resource without opening a new page and better preview experience for PDFs, images, and videos.
    • Card View - Interactive cards provide a new way to browse library entries, providing a more visually appealing experience.
    • Featured Entry Carousel - Option to highlight entries in a carousel to drive more engagement to important or popular resources.
    • Drag and Drop Folder Management – Improved admin tools to easily organize entries and folders.

As always, I welcome any feedback or questions you may have.

Looking forward to rolling this out for you all!

  • Have Your Say: Chapter Program Planning

    Hello Community:

Just sending out a friendly reminder of a survey many of you should have received a link for through our Chapter newsletter.

We would greatly appreciate feedback from all of our members and student registrants as our Chapter Boards looks ahead to future program planning. Your input helps us prepare events that best meet your needs in terms of program format, length, and competency focus for your professional development.

Whenever you have a moment, please take 3-4 minutes to complete this survey. Your responses will be anonymous.

The survey will close at 8:00am March 3, 2021.

  • Community Maintenance on 2/19

    Hello Community,

Scheduled maintenance for the Online Community is coming up on February 19 from 11 PM to 3 AM ET. During this time, you may experience brief downtimes – but hopefully you are fast asleep or enjoying a well-earned weekend during these updates.
  • Anonymous Posting

    Good Morning, Community:

I have shared this update in a few of our open communities, however, I felt it important to highlight in the general announcement tab as well.

At the request of a few folks, we have enabled the ability for you to post anonymously in the discussion threads across all of our communities.

Before starting a new thread, or responding to an existing one, you should now see an option to select which will allow you to post your message anonymously. I have attached a few screenshots for your reference.

Thank you again to everyone who has reached out and provided great feedback on potential features and improvements to this platform. Keep them coming!

    Justin

  • New Site Theme being applied today. Please excuse any visual anomalies

    Hello Community,

A quick heads up that as of Monday, December 21st at 3:00 PM ET, a new theme is being applied to our Communities Page which is consistent with our new branding standards.

Please excuse any  visual anomalies you may see today as the team works at applying these new assets. I am anticipating that this work will be completed later tonight. If you log in any day after the 21st and still notice that something does not look right, please clear your browser cache and load the site again.

As always, if you have any feedback on the new look and feel of the page, I would welcome your feedback!

If I don't get an opportunity to say this to you over an email or call, I wish you all the best over the holidays!

    Justin
