As we approach the end of the year, I wanted to send out a quick reminder for you all to take a quick look through your Chapter's volunteer opportunity listings to see which ones you're still looking to fill, and which ones have already been filled and are no longer active.
With a new year comes a renewed interest for many to get involved with the Association through their local Chapter.
From time to time, I'll receive an email from someone wanting to put their name forward to volunteer, however, they have reservations to do so given the dates indicated on the listing they're interested in. There have been some instances where a potential volunteer will contact me and ask me if they're able to apply for a volunteer opportunity which dates back as far as 2016!
When you have a moment, please take a quick look through your Chapter's volunteer opportunities. For all inactive opportunities, please remove them by clicking on EDIT > Put on hold. By putting the opportunity on hold, it will be saved in the back end and remain invisible to the public. The content can be used and revised for future use.
