As part of its Strategic Plan, the Human Resources Professionals Association (‘HRPA’, ‘Association’) is looking to recruit members for an Awards Task Force.
The mandate of this Task Force will be to examine all award offerings at both the Provincial and Chapter level, and to provide strategic input on the direction of appropriate recognition from the Association. This Task Force will be responsible for presenting this recommendation to the Association’s Provincial Board of Directors for their approval.
Not counting staff support from the Association, this Task Force will be comprised of the following members:
- Chair – Appointed by the HRPA
- Member – Large-sized Chapter
- Member – Medium-sized Chapter
- Member – Small-sized Chapter
- Member – Small-sized Chapter
- Member – Awards of Distinction Judge’s Panel
Successful applicants will have demonstrated past experiences with creating awards or other initiatives around formal recognition. Regarding time commitments, each member of the Task Force will be expected to commit to a 4-month term, with possibility of extension. Each month, Task Force members should be able to commit to a hour and a half virtual meeting once a month.
