Time Commitment
As a member of the Review Committee, you would be called upon to attend hearings on an as-needed basis. The process for a single case can involve multiple panel meetings, as such, it is difficult to predict the time commitment that this role will require; however, a rough estimate would be 10-15 hours per year via teleconference or email, during business hours. Furthermore, given the nature of review cases once you are assigned to a review panel your attendance at meetings and/or hearings is mandatory. You will also be required to attend an annual business meeting virtually that may be approximately 1.5 - 3 hours. Currently all hearings, training, and meetings are conducted remotely.
Each committee member serves a three-year term, renewable to a maximum of three terms (nine years in total). The volunteer year begins June 1, 2025.
