Registration Desk Volunteer
Assist with the Registration desk providing a friendly and organized check-in experience for attendees.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive 30 min prior to event start time
- Greet attendees as they arrive and guide them through the check-in process.
- Assist with finding their name badge
- Assist in matching Volunteer Connectors with those who requested a Connector
- Answer questions about the event and HRPA or direct attendees to HRPA Staff

Greeter
As the initial point of contact, the Greeter is responsible for ensuring that attendees feel acknowledged and welcomed as they arrive.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive 30 min prior to event start time
- Greet attendees as they enter the venue
- Direct attendees to the appropriate areas (registration, restrooms, coat check etc.)
- Answer questions about the event and HRPA or direct attendees to the Specialist of Member Engagement

Tech Assistance
Provide technical support to ensure a smooth hybrid event experience for both in-person and virtual attendees.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive 30 min prior to event start time
- Assist with set up and testing of Audio-visual equipment, including microphones, laptops and cameras
- Assist with connecting and managing Zoom platform
- Troubleshoot technical issues for virtual attendees
Essential Skills:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Audiovisual equipment and Zoom platform
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Speaker Liaison/Greeter
The primary point of contact for event speakers, ensuring they have the support and resources needed for the event.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive 30 min prior to event start time
- Greet speakers upon arrival and guide them to the appropriate area (Tech, head table, green room etc.)
- Communicate with Specialist of Member Engagement (SME) that Speaker has arrived and is set to present
- Ensure Speaker begins and concludes presentation on time

Be on hand to assist Event Staff Lead before and during the event as needed
