Student Liaison Committee - Terms of Reference:
The objectives/scope of the committee is to promote student engagement with HRPA by undertaking various initiatives within the HRPA guidelines and budget. This will include outreach to students at schools (colleges and universities) with HR programs within the Peel chapter region, developing and implementing various programs and initiatives that support those students.
The selected volunteers will form the Student Liaison Committee to support the Director & Student Liaison Chair on the scope referred to above. There will be up to two volunteers nominated as Co-Leads of the committee to take lead on various initiatives.
The committee members are expected to contribute by helping undertake various tasks and activities as may be discussed and agreed by the committee, Chair or Co-Leads. Committee members are expected to suggest ideas for discussion and consideration.
The committee will meet periodically as needed but at least once a month through phone conference call unless a in-person is meeting is needed on a rare occasion, if any.
