The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee is responsible for auditing CPD logs to ensure compliance with the CPD requirements. They also audit CPD logs of former members who are trying to reinstate their designation, as well as consider non-administrative extension requests.
Time Commitment:
The Continuing Professional Development Committee meets in-person once per year for an all-day meeting (during business hours) and other committee work is done via email or teleconference on an ad-hoc basis during business hours.
HRPA Regulatory Committee Boot Camp Participation
If you are interested in volunteering on the CPD committee, then you are invited to attend HRPA’s Regulatory Committee Boot Camp on February 16, 2021, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Although the webinar is free of charge, registration is required to receive the login details, please register here. Please note that any committee appointment would be conditional on the completion of the Boot Camp and do keep in mind that you may only volunteer for one committee. The Boot Camp will be recorded and archived for individuals who are not able to attend the live recording.
Qualifications:
To qualify you must be a current designation holder (e.g. CHRP, CHRL, or CHRE).
