Position Summary:
As the Membership Engagement Chair, you will be responsible for leading a committee that is working towards maintaining and improving the engagement of the current HRPA Grand Valley Membership base. You will lead & assist the committee in the organizing two annual receptions, executing the engagement survey, and engaging members during monthly meetings. Working together with the Retention Chair, Student Chair & Membership Director, you will assist in the strategic planning for the Membership Portfolio.
Role Responsibilities:
- Promote the HRPA membership, professional designation and Grand Valley Chapter to members
- Recruit, coordinate and facilitate membership engagement committee
- Coordinate two annual receptions – New CHRL’s & New Member/Student Reception
- Assist in the improvement and executing of the HRPA Grand Valley Engagement Survey
- Liaison with the membership to identify needs and priorities and, assessment of the satisfaction level with the current programs and services
- Assist with the strategic planning & execution of key chapter goals
- Special projects – work with Membership Director in the creation & execution of new programs to engage membership

Time Commitment:
This includes attending monthly Portfolio meetings in the evenings, and quarterly committee meetings
